This Privacy & Cookie Statement applies to all personal information collected and used by Hack and Cast, further referred to as "HAC". HAC respects your privacy and will never sell or release your data to any third parties.

Cookies

We will only store "cookies" on your computer if you click the appropriate box during your visit/login to HAC. Use of cookies allow users to login easier and faster. We do not use cookies for any other purpose.

Collection of data, purpose and recipients

We collect personal data when you provide it to us (e.g. username, gender and email address) through registration and inquiries or requests or other situations in which you have chosen to provide personal information to us.

Your data shall be processed for the purposes of realization of any agreement, between you and HAC, fulfilling a request from you for information or advice, meeting statutory or other legal requirements, providing an optimal service and sending you information about our company and our (new) products or services, which suit your interest.

Limitations

Our privacy policy does not apply on any other website you reach as a result of visiting HAC. Any links followed on Hack and Cast that are not part of the "hackandcast.com" domain are not within the boundaries of this Privacy Policy.

Right to restrict access

If you are not happy with communications from us, please contact us to have your contact information removed from our database.

Retention period

HAC will retain your personal data (username, email address, gender, etc.) until you request removal of the data from our database, in a situation where you can no longer access HAC, or until we no longer have a need for your information.

Security of your data

The storage and transfer of your data through the internet are secured with MD5 password hashing. We do not store your passwords in plain-text format, however, it has become increasingly easy to "crack" MD5 hashes and we recommend that users employ complex passwords consisting of symbols and numbers.
